The MA Course in has been designed to provide the students with a greater understanding of literature and the society in context. In the wake of the changes taking place in the broader social spectrum of our land and nation, the literary studies have also undergone changes and topics of interdisciplinary concerns have permeates into literature and linguistics. Accordingly, we have tried to accommodate topics and issues of topical interests and in MA Programme, we have introduced papers on “Polity, Society and Literature” and “Literature from the North East”. The Multidisciplinary Course attempts at fostering methods and trends of creative writing among students of different disciplines.
