The Department of English, of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya was set up in 2013. The Department is interested in introducing innovative ideas within the traditional area of English Literary Studies, and promoting research activities that reflect the diversity of the place in which the University is located. The goal of the Department is to produce students who are responsible citizens and can make significant contributions to society.
