The Department of Physics also conducts research programmes in Physics. The Department has theoretical and experimental research facilities available in the following fields
– High Energy Physics
– Lasers and Non-linear optics
– Condensed Matter and Nanosciences
Experimental and inter-disciplinary research activities are also carried out in collaboration with different departments and the Advanced Research Center of the university. The department also maintains collaboration with premier institutions of India and also for research.
